About Dr. Michael Mortazie, DDS

After receiving his Bachelors Degree from George Mason University, Dr. Mortazie attended the Howard University College of Dentistry, graduating with academic honors in 2001. Since that time he has completed extensive post-graduate work, much of it at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.

It was at LVI that Dr. Mortazie and Dr. Lee first met and discovered their practice philosophies to be similar. Dr. Mortazie was asked to join Galleria Dental Aesthetics in 2005. Since that time he has completed extensive post-graduate work, much of it at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.

Dr. Mortazie is a member of the Association of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the American Association of Implant Dentistry, the American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Virginia Dental Association, the Northern Virginia Dental Society, the DC Dental Society, the Millennium Dental Study Club and the LVI Metropolitan Graduate Dental Study Club.

Dr. Mortazie and his wife are involved with a number of charity organizations including the Child Foundation and the AIDS Marathon in support of the Whitman-Walker Clinic.
